Many families find the information about breastfeeding and tongue-tie confusing and often conflicting. We aim to answer your questions clearly and provide a range of strategies that you can implement yourself as you gain confidence in feeding your baby. We believe that mothers are the experts and we want you to trust yourself and your baby. Australia offers no consumer protections on any products related to infant feeding and has failed to train its health workers about breastfeeding. This means many recommendations for managing breastfeeding challenges are commercially influenced using fictional numerical norms (measuring nipples, timings etc), brands and a plethora of unproven devices.

​Dr Nigro has been practicing as a GP since 1984 in the St George area of Sydney and is able to offer consultations in Italian as well as English.

​Dale has been a Lactation Consultant since 2002, and helping families with infant feeding difficulties since 1991, Tongue and Lip Ties since 2008 and a Baby Friendly Health Initiative (BFHI) educator and assessor since 2005.

INGGITA SHINTOWATI

MBBS, MD, MHM, IBCLC,
NMM (Nurturing Mothers Mentor BAA), Cert IV Breastfeeding Edu. (Counselling).

​Inggita is a former physician turned Lactation Consultant.  She stepped away from her medical career to focus on raising her children & discovered her passion in helping new parents navigate breastfeeding.  Her journey into breastfeeding support began in 2017 through volunteering & studies, & she became certified as an IBCLC in early 2023.

Inggita can provide Lactation Consultations in fluent English and Bahasa Indonesia.

- Oral & tie assessment related to infant feeding, pre- & post-tie release support
- Breastfeeding preparation during pregnancy
- Supporting culturally diverse & neurodivergent mothers
